Michael Glantz is a Senior Scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research where he headed the Environmental and Societal Impacts group for almost two decades. His professional activities have focused on the interactions among climate, environment, and society. His most recent book is Climate Affairs: A Primer (Island Press, 2003).
